Presenting The Strickland’s first mailbag invite

Every election year, politicians and pollsters be on a mission to holster your wishes and votes. But they only want you for your body politic. Once the election’s over, the winners jet off to their tropical paradise of Washington, D.C. and the losers move on to lucrative speaking careers, leaving you used and confused.

Not here, loves. Never here.

Here at The Strickland we know there’s no “I” in team, but there is in vox populi. The whole purpose of this joint is to honor the dignity of the individual — not just the writers, but the readers without whom none of this is possible. In that spirit, we present the first ever Strickland mailbag invite. What do YOU wanna talk about? Something we’ve covered? Something we haven’t? It’s all fair game.

The draft is next month. Wanna talk prospects? Trading up? Trading down? Maybe after all the free agent profiles we’ve run you have thoughts? Maybe there’s someone out there we haven’t discussed that you say we oughta? We can jump into Knicks history, too. Got something you’ve always wanted to get off your chest about Carmelo Anthony? Jared Jeffries? Nate Robinson? Charles Smi — actually, leave Mr. Smith alone. No one wins from re-opening that Pandora’s box.

We can talk numbers. Narrative. And who says it all has to be about the Knicks? The Finals start this week with a matchup no one saw coming. This isn’t some one-horse town of a website. Wanna talk Lakers/Heat? This is a safe space, friend.

Share your questions in the comment section or hit us up at The Strickland’s Twitter page. Mail-in ballots are always honored here.
